Our Process

5 Sections of Credit Repair

Here at Patriots Credit Services, we work hard every day to make the process as smooth as possible on our clients and family. Our principals all have over 75 years of credit repair & real estate experience. Our 5 Sections of Credit Repair focuses on raising your Clients credit score which is calculated by 5 major factors. Payment history (35%), Debt owed (30%), length of credit history (15%), new credit/inquires (10%), and mixture of credit (10%).

The initial section of our comprehensive Credit Repair process is the Credit Repair Consultation, which we provide to you at no cost. At Patriots Credit Services, we firmly believe in delivering value before and do not charge “monthly service fees”. During this consultation, we carefully analyze your credit report to gain a thorough understanding of your financial situation. This enables us to provide an accurate estimate of the work required to improve your credit score. Moreover, we can identify specific areas where you may require assistance, such as:

  • Applying for a mortgage or auto loan: If you’re considering a mortgage or auto loan, we can guide you through the credit repair process to increase your chances of securing favorable terms.
  • Refinancing a mortgage or auto loan: If you’re looking to refinance an existing mortgage or auto loan, we can assist in optimizing your credit profile, potentially resulting in better refinancing options.
  • Debt consolidation: If you’re struggling with multiple debts, our experts can help explore debt consolidation solutions, simplifying your repayment process.
  • Debt settlement: We understand that managing outstanding debts can be challenging. Our team can work towards negotiating settlements with your creditors to help alleviate your financial burden.
  • Building your credit: If you’re starting from scratch or have limited credit history, we offer guidance on building a strong credit foundation to pave the way for a brighter financial future.
  • Student loan consolidation or forgiveness: For those burdened by student loans, we can explore options such as consolidation or forgiveness programs to help ease your financial obligations.

By leveraging our expertise and personalized approach, we strive to provide you with tailored solutions that align with your unique credit repair needs. At Patriots Credit Services, we are committed to helping you achieve your financial goals and ensuring your journey towards improved credit is as smooth as possible.

In the second section of our comprehensive Credit Repair process, you will enroll in our personalized Credit Repair program. This program is specifically designed to address your individual needs and goals, taking into account the insights gained during the previous section. By tailoring the program to your unique circumstances, we ensure that it aligns perfectly with your credit repair objectives. During this step, we will guide you through the creation of an Audit, which provides detailed instructions, do’s and don’ts, program duration, and a wealth of invaluable information and education that you can utilize throughout your lifetime.
As part of our services, we will perform a range of essential tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Setting up your 24/7 Online Client Portal: You will gain access to our user-friendly online portal, which serves as a central hub for monitoring and tracking your credit repair progress.
  • Retrieving your Address & Social Security Verification: We will assist you in obtaining the necessary address and social security verifications to ensure accurate representation of your personal information.
  • Enrolling you into a Credit Monitoring Service (mandatory): To effectively monitor your credit profile throughout the program, we will enroll you in a credit monitoring service. This allows us to stay updated on any changes and identify potential areas for improvement.
  • Preparing the 1st round of Disputes, Demands, and Requests: Our team will meticulously craft and initiate the first round of disputes, demands, and requests on your behalf. These documents serve as powerful tools in challenging inaccuracies and discrepancies with original creditors, collection agencies, credit bureaus, and even courts.
  • Printing, signing, dating, and certifying your Disputes, Demands, and Requests: We ensure that all necessary paperwork is handled meticulously, including printing, signing, dating, and certifying the disputes, demands, and requests. By sending them via certified mail, we can track their delivery and utilize their certified status as evidence during the credit repair process.
  • Once you receive the dispute results in the mail, it is crucial that you promptly forward them to us. Our team will then analyze the outcomes and devise a new strategy if necessary. If inaccurate items are successfully deleted or corrected, we will continue to re-dispute any remaining negative items on your behalf. Throughout this process, it is important to stay in close communication with us and forward all dispute results received from the credit bureaus, creditors, and collection agencies.

We go the extra mile by not only filing disputes with the credit bureaus, creditors, and collection agencies but also filing a dispute with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), lodging a complaint with your Attorney General’s Office (AG), and reporting to the Better Business Bureau (BBB). This comprehensive approach ensures that your disputes are thoroughly investigated, maximizing the chances of a successful resolution.

Our credit repair program typically lasts for a duration of six (6) months, although you have the flexibility to cancel at any time. Many of our clients begin seeing results within as little as 30 to 45 days, with the maximum benefits realized within the six-month timeframe. The progress made in this second section can contribute significantly, accounting for 30% to 35% of your credit score. On average, our clients experience a deletion rate of 50% to 75% of inaccurate items once this step is completed.

At Patriots Credit Services, we remain dedicated to guiding you through the credit repair journey, providing ongoing support, and working diligently to help you achieve your credit score goals.

Establishing New Lines of Credit In the third section of our comprehensive Credit Repair process, we emphasize the importance of establishing new lines of credit. While many credit repair companies may focus solely on deleting negative accounts and notations, at Patriots Credit Services, we recognize that building and managing new credit lines plays a crucial role in credit repair. We are here to guide and assist you in applying for various types of credit, including:

  • Secured Credit Cards: We will help you explore and apply for secured credit cards, which require a deposit and serve as an excellent starting point for rebuilding your credit.

  • Authorized User Accounts (AU): We can assist you in leveraging the credit of close family members or your spouse by adding you as an authorized user on their accounts. This strategy can potentially boost your credit profile.

  • Credit Card and Installment Builder Accounts: We will guide you through the process of obtaining credit card and installment builder accounts that are specifically designed to help you establish a positive payment history and demonstrate responsible credit usage.

  • Auto Loans: If you are in need of an auto loan, we can provide guidance on finding suitable financing options and assist you in the application process.

  • Department Store Charge Cards: We can help you navigate the application process for department store charge cards, which can be a valuable addition to your credit portfolio.

  • Major Credit Cards: Our team will assist you in applying for major credit cards, helping you establish a solid foundation for a diverse credit mix.

  • Merchandise Credit Lines: We can guide you through obtaining merchandise credit lines, which allow you to make purchases with specific retailers and contribute to your overall credit profile.

At Patriots Credit Services, we understand that establishing new lines of credit and utilizing them responsibly are vital components of credit repair. Our experts will provide personalized guidance, ensuring that you make informed decisions and follow best practices when it comes to managing your credit. By incorporating a strategic approach to new credit opportunities, you will be well on your way to achieving long-term credit repair success.

Addressing Violations and Consumer Protection In the fourth section of our Credit Repair program, we focus on addressing violations of crucial consumer protection acts such as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Fair and Accurate Credit Transaction Act (FACTA), the Fair Credit Billing Act (FCBA), and numerous others. As consumers, we are supported by over 200 such acts, which serve as powerful tools in our pursuit of credit repair goals. At Patriots Credit Services, we have partnered with a reputable nationwide law firm specializing in deceptive business practices, enabling us to leverage these laws to your advantage. Should violations be identified, we can utilize them to help you seek financial compensation and potentially even delete negative notations or accounts.

Among the prohibited actions by collection agencies, some violations include:

  • Mentioning to Damage Your Credit Score: Collection agencies are not allowed to make threats or falsely claim that they will harm your credit score as a means to coerce payment.

  • Calling Before 8:00 a.m. or After 9:00 p.m.: Collection agencies must adhere to specific time restrictions and cannot contact you outside of reasonable hours.

  • Contacting Your Relatives or Neighbors: Collection agencies are prohibited from disclosing information about your debts to your relatives or neighbors.

  • Using Abusive or Profane Language: Collection agencies must maintain a professional and respectful demeanor and are not permitted to use abusive or profane language during communications.

  • Calling You at Work if You Told Them Not To: If you have informed a collection agency that you cannot receive calls at your workplace, they are legally required to respect your request.

  • Avoiding Validation on a Disputed Account: Collection agencies must provide validation of a disputed account upon request, ensuring transparency and accountability.

The accounts that fall under this section primarily include open collection accounts and charge-off accounts with remaining balances. By identifying violations and leveraging the associated consumer protection acts, we can potentially assist you in claiming financial compensation of up to $1,000. This step can contribute significantly to your credit score, accounting for approximately 30% of its composition.

Through our partnership with a specialized law firm and our deep understanding of consumer protection acts, we aim to rectify violations, assert your rights as a consumer, and work towards resolving negative accounts and notations. At Patriots Credit Services, we are committed to utilizing every available resource to ensure a fair and just credit repair process for our clients.
